Terms of Service
Effective date: September 15, 2026.
1. General provisions
1.1. These Terms of Service (the "Agreement") govern the use of the Meridian VPN service: the website meridianvpn.org, the Telegram bot, the apps, and the control panel (the "Service"), provided by the Administration.
1.2. By using the Service — including launching the bot, issuing an access key, or paying for the service — the User confirms that they have fully read these Terms and accept them in full.
1.3. If the User does not agree with these Terms, the User must stop using the Service.
2. Nature of the service
2.1. The Service provides access to a hardware-and-software complex for a secure network connection — a service of an intangible nature. Pricing and payment terms are shown on the checkout page before payment.
2.2. The value of the service consists in providing a working secure connection, along with its support and maintenance.
3. Disclaimer of warranties and liability
3.1. The Service is provided "AS IS".
3.2. The Administration does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation of the Service at all times: technical interruptions are possible, including those depending on communication networks and third-party infrastructure.
3.3. The Administration is not liable for:
- any indirect losses, including lost profit;
- actions or omissions of telecom operators, payment systems, and other third parties;
- temporary technical failures and access restrictions that did not arise through the fault of the Administration.
4. Lawful use
4.1. The Service is not intended to encourage, organize, or facilitate unlawful activity.
4.2. The User agrees to use the Service solely within the bounds of applicable law of the Russian Federation.
4.3. Responsibility for the lawfulness of using the Service rests entirely with the User.
5. Intellectual property
5.1. The software, texts, design, and other materials of the Service are protected by intellectual property law.
5.2. The User is prohibited from copying, distributing, decompiling, or otherwise using the Service's materials without the rightsholder's permission, except for use as intended.
6. Access restriction
6.1. The Administration may suspend or restrict a User's access to the Service in the event of a breach of these Terms, detected abuse (including using a single access key on more devices than the plan allows), or requirements of the law or payment providers.
6.2. Restricting access does not relieve the User of obligations that arose earlier.
7. Payments and refunds
7.1. Payment for the service is made on the terms specified on the checkout page before payment.
7.2. The User agrees not to initiate a chargeback through payment systems without first contacting the Service's support team.
8. Privacy
8.1. The Administration processes data necessary to operate the Service. The categories of data, their purposes, and retention periods are described in detail in the Privacy Policy.
8.2. The Administration takes reasonable measures to protect data but does not guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.
9. Changes to the Terms
9.1. The Administration may amend these Terms.
9.2. The current version of the Terms is published on this page.
9.3. Continued use of the Service after changes are made constitutes the User's agreement to the updated terms.
